EUROPE. Collection ★★/★/⊙. Estate of 4 impressive gold leaf Schaubek Permanent albums, offered intact as received, no hinge remainders. Everything is from the 19th century through to the late 1930s, mint and used. All 4 albums have many good items, including occasional MNH as the collector mounted the stamps on the sheet margins, amply illustrated by many good sets of Saar, for example. Other good areas include France with Pexip m/s and lots of other good sets of the period, Switzerland also excellent with much MNH often in block of 4 on Schaubek extra pages, again gold leaf, noted better airmails, pro Juventutes etc. Switzerland also has a good range of Rayons and Strubeli and Sitting and Standing Helvetias, so much more here, must be viewed, page for page, to fully appreciate this Grandad collection, rich colours throughout, hardly exposed to light, a delightful viewing from the good old days..
