Also a written up collection of postmarks of India used in Zanzibar QV.Stamp highlights SG#21m with double overprint 1 albino, cat £1600 and one of thescarcest of Zanzibar QV the 3rps ‘R’ inverted SG#20k cat £6,000 signed Diena. Also the 1895/98 provisional surcharges through to the set, such as 1896/98, as well as various British East Africa overprints, leading on to turn of the century with 1899/1904 complete to 5rs mint, plus 1904/08 monogram of Sultan Seyyid Ali binHamoud bin Naherud, accompanied by exceptionally rare large revenue overprints on the 2rp and 5rp. Other extraordinary material includes Polish Legation to Zanzibar 3 used cards hardly ever seen on the market 1918/22, etc. Mafia Island incl. important covers such as EDVII bisect commercially used, as well as stamps incl. multiple with different settings, etc. A lifetimes work in progress, thoroughly recommended.
