KM 510.5, 200 cash 1933 (?). 18.80 g. Rim damage at date on obverse. Interesting example where the date "19" is clearly visible, the last digit appears to be a 5 in chinese characters in certain angles, but could also be a 3. The obverse at left shows three horizontal lines as opposed to CL-SWA.11 (1933 date) showing four horizontal lines. The reverse shows "CC*C" with a star in the design which is also unlike CL-SWA.11-13. Potentially the star is a countermark added later and thus causing the rim issue. Moreover the hammer has a wide and textured shaft which is not present on either of the illustrated example in CL or Duan references. A similar example was sold in SBP September 2021 lot number 21570. A very interesting study piece for the specialist. F. Show less
