Appelgren auktion oktober 1918, nr 64. SMB 21. Karl X:s enmarker har i alla tider tillhört 1600-talets mest sällsynta typmynt. De har därför skattats högt av samlare. Som exempel kan vi nämna det exemplar av marken 1656 ur Martin Anderssons samling (Boberg auktion 17, nr 386) som klubbades för 330 kronor år 1930. Som prisjämförelse kan vi ta Gustav II Adolfs 10 marks guldklipping 1626 som såldes på samma auktion för 420 kronor! Utan denna proveniens såldes samma exemplar på Misab 36, nr 170, för 230 000 kronor + provision! 1+.

Appelgren auction October 1918, lot 64. SMB 21. The 1 mark coinage of Karl X Gustav has always been one of the most scarce type coins of the 17th Century Swedish coinage. Thence they have been highly regarded by collectors. For example we can mention that when Martin Andersson's collection (Boberg auction 17, lot 386) was sold the 1 mark brought 330 SEK in 1930. For price comparison it can be noted that at the same auction the 10 mark gold klippe 1626 of Gustav II Adolf was hammered at 420 SEK! Without this provenance mentioned this same example was sold at Misab auction 36, lot 170, at 230 000 SEK+%!
