Lot 2350 A

ALL WORLD. Covers. About 125 items of censor postal history, overwhelmingly for WW2 (some WW1), much coming to Ireland particularly interesting in WW2, as a neutral country. Some of the covers from this category come from Trinidad receiving, both red and green Irish censor strikes, similarly France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria and much more. There is a also a good range of registered letters and active service to England with rectangles, octagons, triangular and many types of shapes and sizes censor marks. There are some very scarce covers here in their own right, such as Palestine sent to Australia, Netherlands Indies advertising covers, etc, an extraordinary range. Please allow sufficient time to study this carefully. We have not had the opportunity to reverse the back of any covers and we are sure there will be many pleasant surprises here.
