A quality collection, mint and used, written up, firstly the 1866/75 Tsarist types to 30 kop, the latter a superb cds, perf 14 ½ by 15, then further studies of these defins 1875/82 inc the different papers and perf types, posthorns without thunderbolts, etc. Then 1899 through to the 20th century inc blocks of 4 o/ps 1912, 1913 Romanovs and many more multiples of Russia during transition inc high values of the imperial types, through to the last years of the 1920s. Lots of varieties too among the 100s of examples here. Then a good study of the dual 'postage stamp/currency' types inc mint multiples, similarly with the surcharges, etc. Also extensive study of postmarks 1855 onwards with many dozen stamps to 30 kop inc coloured cancels, etc. Also seen cut squares from 1866 onwards, both mint and used, useful 19th century p.stats inc items we have never seen before. Also seen some interesting worker defins incorporated into large advertising vignettes used, as well as 1932 Yvert #460 MNH imperf pair with touched frameline on left, Gorki 15 kop, as well as further interpanneau pairs and saving stamps used as postage, etc. Much much more here to investigate a lovely collection that will delight the specialist.
