A very good range of the items showing how the system with compulsory military service worked with e.g. calling up orders, pre-printed free answers to the military units and also very interesting "calling-up" orders for horses and dogs. One registered cover with censor cancel "WAXHOLMS FÄSTNING" and postmark VAXHOLM 29.3.1940, then a cover with two lilac cancels in Swedish and French about free Prisoner of War (PoW) mail and postmark "VAXHOLM" 19.2.1940 with content. This one is shown in Facit Postal X catalogue. Third cover is from when the Polish sailors where later interned in Mariefred 1941 with different censor cancels and postmark "STOCKHOLM 5" (where all this kind of mail was handled) 6.12.1941. All covers nicely mounted on pages with facts about this starting when 3 Polish submarines escaped the Germans in Sep.1939. Total 182 Polish were kept in captivity. Two covers from camp in Backamo, sent postage free and with Swedish censor cancels in Swedish, French and German, from the German officer Spennemann with censor label and postmark "STOCKHOLM 1" 13.6.1945 (handled by the special department for security in Sweden) and from Sippel with postmark "STOCKHOLM 90" 27.9.1945 with censor label with cancel "Granskad av SVENSK militärmyndighet". The third cover from officer R. Schanz in Ränneslätt camp (outside Eksjö) with red cancel in Swedish, French and German about free postage for Prisoner of War. Also red censor cancel, postmark "STOCKHOLM 90" (the mail from interned citizens was handled at the Swedish military headquarter in Stockholm) and with letter content.
