Coins, Sweden. Erik XIV, SM 35, 1 öre 1564. 1.96 g. Stockholm. One year type for the denomination. Scarcely found in high grade and with well struck portrait such as displayed on this example, and fully legible legends. The planchet is irregular as made, and potentially a few minor further edge losses have occurred. Despite the irrgularity this example is among the better ones in existance. SMB 49. 1+/01. Beskrivning på SVENSKA: 1.96 g. Stockholm. Ettårstyp för valören. Notoriskt svår i välbevarat välpräglat skick. Coins, Sweden. Erik XIV, SM 48, 16 öre (klippe) 1567. 23.72 g. Stockholm. A superb example of the second most scarce date (1568 being the most scarce). In addition to being one of the best preserved for the date, also one of the better for the type. Fully struck on a well-centered planchet with sharp edges. Good metal with some lustre. SMB 71. 01. Beskrivning på SVENSKA: 23.72 g. Stockholm. SMB 71.Show less

Coins, Sweden. Gustav II Adolf, SM 184e, 1 öre 1628. 26.03 g. Nyköping. A beautiful example with good copper colour. Excellent striking with not worn dies, however with some excess metal in the dies. The coin shows no obvious wear and has sharp edges. In some relief details you can see hints of red lustre. Minor traces of corrosion mentioned for accuracy. SMB 266. 01. SMB 266.Show less

Coins, Sweden. Karl X Gustav, SM 19a, 2 mark 1657. 10.80 g. Stockholm. An unusually well struck coin of a more scarce date of the type. The planchet is well made without the black porosities (metal impurity) often seen for the type. A very beautiful example of the type, irrespective of date. SMB 13. 1+/01. Beskrivning på SVENSKA: 10.80 g. Stockholm. SMB 13.Show less

Coins, Sweden. Adolf Fredrik, SM 120, 2 mark 1751. 10.17 g. Stockholm. Largesse money to King's coronation. A well struck example with portrait in unusually high relief. On reverse a small silver test mark in right field. Else a very beautiful type coin with underlying lustre and a sublime tint of greenish patina. SMB 110. 01. Beskrivning på SVENSKA: 10.17 g. Stockholm. SMB 110.Show less

Coins, Sweden. Karl XIV Johan, SM 46, var, 1 riksdaler 1824. 29.19 g. Stockholm. This example is a hitherto not recorded die combination with obverse portrait of 1820 type paired with the reverse of 1824. It is thus lacking the normal die characteristics with a die crack on obverse, which is usually found on this date. Reverse left field has a few insignificant scratches, not detracting from the overall appearance. Scarce and interesting example. SMB 12 var. 01. Beskrivning på SVENSKA: 29.19 g. Stockholm. SMB 12, variantShow less
