Coins, Sweden. Gustav II Adolf, SM 168a var, 1 öre 1629. Säter. Superb example with much lustre and sharp edges, and largely well struck; however some corrosion is evident. This example shows a shield type similar to that of 1630 and obverse crown type 7, which does not appear to be paired with the obverse die of 1629 in SM or SMB. The reverse die appears to by identical to SMB 230. SMB compare obverse 232. 01.
