A delicious specimen with strong strike (apart from the always notoriously soft segment of the King´s hair, and the corresponding reverse area in the depiction of the crown), lovely light patina only occassionally touched upon due to cabinet friction on the highest points of the relief. Finally, the shimmering of lustre is there under the light patina, totally original and thus very beautiful! Stockholm. A minor edge punch is mentioned for the sake of accuracy, but of course it does not impact on the total overall beauty, so seldom even closely encountered in the market place. SMB 17. 01.
