AUGUST STRINDBERG (22 January 1849 – 14 May 1912) was a world famous Swedish playwright, novelist, poet, essayist and painter. 20 öre blue and 1 öre bicoloured numeral type on registered local printed matter cover (21 öre), cancelled STOCKHOLM 12 TEGNERG. 10.3.12, handwritten by Strindberg almost on the day two months before his death. (The last to Vilhelm Carlheim Gyllensköld). According to the addressee´s note on the back, it has contained "En Extra Blå Bok". A copy of the submission receipt and an article by Jan Billgren are enclosed. A TRULY LITERARY HISTORICAL DOCUMENT!
