British East Africa. SG 66w ★★, Unused block of 6 wing corner marginal with imprints, rich colours, four stamps with a clear inverted wmk. QV 1 anna carmine rose (cat £1000), the other two stamps with bar wmk (unlisted) from the sheet margin and the block of 6 therefore has 2 se-tenant pairs, one with wmk inverted the other with bar wmk and if not unique certainly very scarce. This is a recent discovery and the first time on the open market, an exhibition item of considerable importance of British Africa.
