Manuscripts, Sweden. KARL XIII (1748–1809–1818). Regent of Sweden during the minority of Gustaf IV Adolf 1792–1796. He was the younger brother of Gustaf III. Three letter content signed by Carl. The first (1page) dated at Stockholm Castle April 26, 1793 is a permission for major for 6 months leave, the second (2½ pages) dated in Drottningholm September 1793 to Colonel N F Jernfeltz, the Life Grenadier Regiment and in the content is mentioned "for valour in the field" (för tapperhet i fält). The third is item (1½ page) is dated in Stockholm Castle March 14, 1796 and to the Ministry of War about the dismissed Lieutenant Gabriel Silljander, Regiemnt of Skaraborg to live at Hoffmanstorp (in the area of the same regiment). Transcription is enclosed for two of them, the other is an easy read. Scarce itrems in good quality!
