Manuscripts, Sweden. KARL XI (1655–1672–1697). Very interesting letter content, dated in Stockholm May 9, 1696 and signed Carolus. The letter content is an application from Anders Mårtensson Hällendorf "an old and poor man" to get the final payment for many years of different service for the Swedish Navy. Mention e.g he had served on Havsfrun which was captured by the Danish 1677 and later served in Göteborg under Amiral Erik Siöblad. Transcription enclosed. Good quality but with some paper loss. Also enclosed two coins from 1666 & 1686 with less value. Scarce item!
